Part 2: The First Impressions
Alex gets a chance to speak directly with the business owner, who appreciates the personal effort and shares some pain points about their current marketing strategy. They bond over shared interests, and the owner mentions they’ve been looking for a more hands-on partner. Meanwhile, Jamie receives a few email responses, but most are automated replies or rejections. They manage to get one lead to show mild interest, but the communication is still cold and distant.
Alex leaves the meeting feeling confident after setting up a second meeting for a proposal. Jamie, after a few follow-up emails, finally gets a meeting—but it’s a virtual one, with no personal connection established. The day ends with Jamie feeling the pressure. Will Jamie’s digital approach eventually pay off, or is Alex’s personal touch the winning strategy? Find out in the next installment!
